How it All Got Started
Established in 2014
Memory Cafe of Cary was founded as a collaborative campaign for the five Rotary Clubs of Cary.
- Cary Rotary Club – founded in 1964
- Cary Central Rotary Club
- Cary Kildaire Rotary Club
- Cary McGregor Rotary Club
- Cary Page Rotary Club
The five clubs brought the Memory Cafe to the Town of Cary in honor of their 50th Anniversary. The clubs sought to start a service project that could enrich the community for many years to come. The Memory Cafe of Cary has served the community over the past 8 years by providing a safe and fun filled evening once a month to patients with Alzheimer’s and Dementia and their primary caregiver.
